Community Meal Prep Club brings people together to prepare nourishing meals for neighbors in need, promoting food security, dignity, and belonging.

What we do

We strengthen food access and community connection across Greater Boston. Our cooking events incorporate seasonal vegetables from local farms in a joyful learning environment to produce high-quality meals for donation.

Emphasizing quality and choice

We feature creative, nutrient-dense recipes and thoughtfully plan menus to accommodate diverse dietary needs. Recipients can choose from culturally responsive options that are carefully customized for a variety of diets. We are grateful to Wright-Locke Farm for generously subsidizing the cost of fresh produce for our programming.

Building community around good food

Working in teams, we collectively prepare on average 100 meals during each three-hour workshop. We believe the joy and care experienced in the kitchen are felt in every meal we create. Each event is designed to include time for connection, featuring small bites and beverages tailored to the dietary needs and preferences of the group.

Strengthening cooking skills
through service

Community Meal Prep Clubs offer a meaningful way to build culinary skills. Our beginner-friendly cooking events are led by an experienced chef who provides personalized guidance. Participants learn new recipes while gaining practical techniques and confidence — skills they can bring home to prepare delicious meals for family and friends.

“I’m so happy that we made such great meals for others to enjoy!
Your organization of these events makes it extremely joyful to participate.
Thanks for going the extra miles behind the scenes to make this happen.”
